For the second year in a row our Chardonnay is a Silver medal winner in the prestigious Virginia Governor's Cup Wine Competition. The 2007 vintage is barrel fermented Chardonnay aged for over nine months in a combination of the finest French Oak puncheons. Tasting NotesWhole Cluster pressed and Barrel Fermented aged sur lie in French Oak 500 liter casks for nine months. The result is a fruit forward wine expressing lush tropical flavors with a nuance of rich vanilla. |
