Winemaking begins in the vineyard! We are committed to choosing the vine stock which is best suited for the soil type and environmental conditions for the Eastern Shore Appellation to produce wines which best express this area's natural terroir.  Vines are managed using the vertical shoot positioning trellis system.  Crop load is adjusted by selective pruning and held in check by four foot vine spacing in order to maximize fruit quality. We look forward to adding additional Vinifera varieties to our 2007 vintage.
